"Veritas"
Veritas means truth in Latin — a fitting name for a restaurant built on honest cooking, generous hosting and bottles chosen to deepen the meal rather than distract from it.
Guests come for the terrace tucked into Pula's old town, but they return for the feeling: a family-run room where the owner and team are part of the evening, guiding dishes and pairings with ease.
The menu moves between Adriatic seafood, black risotto, dry-aged steaks, silky pasta and Istrian truffles, balancing coastal freshness with the depth of the peninsula's hinterland.
